# $STREME

The `$STREME` token was the first token deployed by Streme. It is the "official" token of Streme but *there is nothing special about it*. It has the same characteristics of all "season 1" Streme coins. There was no team allocation — any tokens owned by the founders were purchased (or received as staking rewards from staking purchased tokens). The total supply and staking rewards are the same as other Streme coins.
